very creamy and smooth. a little syrupy but not in a bad way. a yummy way really. i like syrup. cool bottles too. and no juice at all actually. it it not really a brew that leaves you with a definite feeling. or me at least. good, not great. nothing too unusual about it but i will get more when i figure out just where in the world i got it to begin with. no clue really. vermont maybe? nah, i don’t think so. oh well. whatever. try it.

another clear birch beer. i like clear ones in general. it means (to me) that it will probably be wintergreen and junk, at least a bit. which is how a birch beer should be. this is a little minty but it is more just smooth and kinda sweet. not bad at all, just not the best ever. i’d definitely have it before loads of other kinds of birch beer but it is not my first pick.

it’s got vanilla in it so ya know it is gonna be creamy and junk. a nice little tinge to it too. overall pretty normal though beyond that. i think i took to long to drink this though since the carbonation is minimal. or maybe that is what they are going for, how do i know? huh?! yeh.

really creamy and smooth. not a drink you can just drink down in a few seconds. definitely a sipping root beer. i like that. reminds me a lot of Saranac, which my loyal fans know i love. i am surprised that there is no vanilla in here. i guess there could be, as one of those mysterious “natural flavorings.” by the end though, i like it a bit less. good overall though.

the first can i had of this was pretty darn good but the second wasn’t nearly as tasty. perhaps i was too thirsty the 1st time. anyhow, it is sort of got a medicine / spice thing going on under the pretty regular root beer taste. which sometimes messes it up, sometimes makes it good, it is hard to say which dominates. well, try it yourself if you can find it. i myself have only found this soda in a vending machine at a gas station and they did not seem to know where they get it. weird and mysterious…
