wow. definitely my kind of rootbeer here. rich, very creamy, extremely smooth and just tasty as heck. a hint of a wintergreen taste i think also. i do not think i could drink more than a bottle of this in a sitting or even drink one bottle very quickly. a sipping root beer for sure. highly recommended if you can get your hands on it.

ok, i think the apocolypse is coming, Journey has made a drink that i think is OK. mind you, it is not GOOD, but still, i can drink a whole bottle and i am not too annoyed that i had to buy a whole 4 pack of it since i will indeed drink it all over time. i suppose they are trying to make a few different styles of root beer. this one is the “dark smooth robust” one, supposedly like what used to be made in wisconsin and minnesota. who knows? it has an herbal taste and is indeed pretty robust. i dunno if i would say “smooth” but someone else might. i saw some of the other varieties once but did not get em, thinking i would see em more, closer by, but this is the only one i see now. oh well, better go back there.

yet another gift from my friend Rob Base! i have had a ton of really crappy root beers in my day. this is not really “crappy” although that was the first thing i said. it is just weird tasting but not strongly weird tasting. it has a very slight taste and it is weird but that is the only taste there is to it. kind of herbal in a sun tea sort of way if that means anything to you. i am not a fan really.

when companies sent me root beers to review i almost feel pressure to give them extra attention and junk. but that would just not be fair to my readers or whatever so i am always fair. my opinion of this root beer i don’t think would be swayed anyhow though. i’ve drank a couple bottles in the month or so since they sent it to me and i always think it is a solid drink. smooth, creamy, a little too syrupy sweety, but a good drink to have with a veggie burger and fries or perhaps a bean burrito. i will probably go to the stores in my state and get some more when i run out.

well, it is better than the diet. not good though, mind you. i suspect i may get a bunch of hate mail from juggalos or however you spell that word for fans of the Insane Clown Posse but i never got the impression that they liked to DRINK Faygo, just to spray it and junk. for as cheap as this is, it is decent though. i wouldn’t pick it out of a bunch, unless it was like Journey, Virgil’s and this though. yeh.

a present from a friend. very kind indeed. but ya know what? it just does not taste like much of anything. which is better than it tasting bad but it should taste like something i think. granted i did have it in the fridge for about 4 months, nonetheless that should not make it lose all of its flavor. maybe its carbonation, but it still has lots of that. oh well. don’t avoid it but i don’t think i’d seek it out.
