this is a decent soda. a bit stronger of a taste than your usual generic rootbeer, it is almost herbal. although that could just be that it is going bad for being a couple months old. i will get another bottle and find out later today. for some reason, i delay drinking the generic, store brands longer than the glass bottled, micro brews. probably since this kind of thing is cheaper and there is a Walgreens everywhere so i can get another bottle very easily. so yeh, decent soda, a real lack of carbonation though. a bit too syrupy sweet too. ok, so i got a new bottle, it is about the same with a bit more carbonation.

Ingredients: carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sodium benzoate (as a preservative), artificial and natural flavors, and citric acid

I think they changed the formula. It’s even worse now. I bought a few on sale remembering how it used to taste (roughly two years ago), which was mediocre. But I think I have to actually throw the new ones out because they taste so nasty.

They have this one, and a so called premium one in a glass bottle called Deerfield Trading Company, and I have to say, the cheaper plastic bottle one is far superior. I was quite impressed with the cheapy Walgreen’s pop.
I agree with you about most store brands, they seem to all have been produced by one company with a diffent label slapped on. I think because they’re meant for kids, who don’t really care if it’s good quality or not.
