ah, another classic root beer company has been brought back! which is not to say I have ever heard of this one. but then again, there have been so many root beer brands that went away long before i ever walked the earth, so I doubt I am aware of 5% of them. of course the all mighty root beer tracker was kind enough to send this one to me. soon he will eclipse me in root beers in 1/4 of the time! very impressive indeed.
the bottle here seems more like someone printed it on their inkjet or some such thing. I was almost not believing this was indeed an actual product. which is not to say I have not reviewed things with much MUCH more badly done labels. this one is kinda cool, just the nutrition info fonts are not very clear.
this is not the best tasting soda ever. it is sort of bitter and exactly yummy. I’m glad they are trying something sort of different, but it does not work out all that well for them. or if this is the real original recipe, I did not work out that well since the start. but maybe people in those days didn’t like sodas as sweet or something. there is a decent herbal taste behind that bitter thing, although maybe they are one and the same. i am glad they exist and are making this, so support these indie makers.
