yet another soda find by the marvelous Tony, king of the airwaves and middle America root beer finder extraordinaire! I really am excited about this, as it falls into the category of sodas I knew about but couldn’t find a way to get. plus the can is just super cool as well. very different than the usual root beer brown and yellow and orange color scheme and style. they opt for a 50s sort of kitsch theme.
they also make an excellent soda! woo! it is sweet and a bit spicy. they start off with the traditional flavor but throw in some extras for zing and fun and because that is how you do it. it is smooth and creamy but not overly. it is a little zesty but doesn’t assault your taste buds. i am trying to place the flavor. i would say it has some wintergreen and also something else… perhaps cinnamon? it develops and changes over time. but this is definitely the best root beer I have had in quite some time, at least a couple years I believe. if you have this available near you, definitely stock up and feel lucky.
