this is a darn fine brew. SO creamy and rich you almost feel sick after drinking a bottle. which is wacky, but kind of fun. it is stinky that this beverage is not available anywhere near where i am though, very lame indeed. perhaps i will import it. if you can get it, do and be happy. i will just have to mail order some more i suppose. alas, woe is me.
Update 5/2009:
as the note below in the comments says, Lost Trail is now made with only cane sugar, so rest easy all!

I was under the impression, through the company’s internet data, that the Lost Trail Root Beer was all natural and old fashioned root beer, so I ordered some. It hasn’t arrived yet, but if I had known that they use High Fructose Corn Syrup, and another ingredient or two that are not desirable, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Too late to cancel now. I’ve paid a hight price for crap.
Wow. The first comment is a really old one. Jan., 1997-12 years ago. But, Lost Trail Root Beer tastes great right now and makes a fabulous root beer/ice cream float, too. And from a Lost Trail info sheet — 2009 — it says that their soda recipes are formulated to be caffeine-free, low sodium, and sweetened with sugarcane instead of high fructose corn syrup. Not to worry Jerry. You can order it online, but many specialty and grocery stores carry Lost Trail Root Beer and their other soda. If your grocer doesn’t carry it, ask them if they could. Why not email or call the Lost Trail Soda Company and ask what is near you?

All Lost Trail sodas are made with pure cane sugar
Yeah, after trying many root beers I have found one that is finally a decent one. I spent to me, what would I would call a lot of dollars buying differant samples of soda and finally a good one.
Thanks, Anthony.
Thank God I can drink diet root beers without a problem and not be left with that dreaded aftertaste.
I highly recommend their diet root beer, just about as good as their regular one.
After I opened the bottle, I smelled it. Wow, thats smells like root beer that I love.
Wow, Thats tastes creamy, yet coppery taste like a root beer barrel. I love it.
