ok, so it was made in a 400 year old brewery in Bavaria and they got some special nutmeg. yeh, and it still sucks. wow, this is so terrible. i do not know how people can even claim this is good. stinks that it is in such a nice bottle though. there are just way too many flavors here, anise, nutmeg, wintergreen, cinnimon, vanilla, crap… it is like licking a stick. get it, and dump out this slop and put something good in it. i think this special edition is just a hoax to trick you into trying it again or something. do not be fooled!
alright, judging by the fact that i actually do enjoy the regular Virgil’s these days, i will try to find this one again and perhaps re-review. it seems only fair.

I saw this recently, but passed on it because I figured the licorice might secretly be in it despite not being listed, heh. I should give it a whirl, though; perhaps it’ll be the Virgil’s I fall in love with (since mentioned on the page for their standard RB, I can’t stand the licorice taste).
This one actually ain’t that bad. Probably just a bit better than their normal root beer.
I would not drink this all of the time but I enjoyed the nutmeg twist for a change.
Wow…. a 12 out of 100…. I cannot believe this….. you MUST try this one again! this soda is pretty darn good. I give it an 84. One of its downsides is that it has a tea-like flavor that I did not care for. Other than that, it has a solid and expensive flavor.
I just found this being sold for the Holidays.
After I poured a glass and took a wiff, it smelled like Liquid black licorice, it was so strong of a smell, and I hate black Licorice. I took a drink and the taste of black licorice was really faint, compared to the smell. I also never tasted even a hint of nutmeg. over all I did not enjoy this and will never buy it again, I give this a 40

I’m always amazed at how loud the minority opinion people yell. Because, well, their opinion is the minority so they feel they have to sway people to their side.
