this really tastes like bark. which may just be what sarsaprilla originally tasted like, but today it does not. i don’t like this at all, yet i am strangely attracted to it. i had a can of it a few months ago and the familiar feeling is returning to my stomach. maybe it has grown on me but i just feel like it will make me poo or something.

Where can I get Hey Song Sarsi in or near Akron, Ohio? I’ve been looking for it for over four years? My ex-Taiwanese girlfriend introduced it to me at OSU. Also, whatcis the best rated rootbeer by your website?
i have no idea, sorry. i have never been to Akron. But i would try any Asian food markets near you. You can click on the “Rankings” link at the top of the page to see the top rated sodas, as chosen by me and by users.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but coming from Taiwan, I have to say this is one of my favorite drinks of all time. It’s not meant to resemble root beer at all, and I’m a bit surprised it’s even on here. But if you just try not to expect the root beer flavor, this drink will be so much better.
I was able to get this my local asian supermarket. It was way too sweet, like drinking candy. I had friend bring back a bottle of Hey Song Salty Sarsaparilla from Taiwan. I know, salty soda, sounds terrible, but it was actually very good, much better than the regular type.
