this was a surprise addition to a shipment Sagi sent to me. and a very welcome surprise it was! the bottle is super cool in itself. i am kind of a sucker for any bottle with a finger grip hole, truth be told. as i have not been to the brewery myself i can only offer my observations of what it seems like from their website. but it does looks quite cool. not unlike many breweries of course, pretty industrial and minimal, basic. that they have been around since 1910 is definitely quite a thing to be lauded.
i probably let this sit too long before drinking it, which is entirely my fault. at this point it is not very carbonated so i will give it the benefit of the doubt in that realm and assume it has good carbonation. the flavor is kind of unique. not too much off the path, but it has a fruity taste to it on top of the expected stuff. perhaps a little cherry type thing is what it is. i don’t disapprove and am a little surprised that went that direction. it could backfire and taste like cough syrup and might even to some. i applaud the trying of something a little off the beaten path. still though it is not exceptional, quite tasty and yummy, more than good.
