this has actually been in my fridge for quite a while. I thought it was a diet root beer (probably because of the color scheme chosen, it seems much more ‘diet’ than normal) so I kept putting off drinking it. silly anthony! although being a generic store brand, it is still not all that appealing, but i must do it, it is my lot and chosen task. onward!
as I alluded above, the can design work leaves a good amount to be desired. perhaps it is my own bias about what color schemes mean diet, but if I were these people I’d rethink this one. but then again, i have never been to one of their stores, maybe this is their thing.
the taste is actually a little different than I expected, in a good way. it has a much more caramel taste than i thought would be here. it is rather harsh and not the best thing otherwise, but it is okay. i’d say it is better than some generics, worse than some. in the end it is a generic root beer that isn’t particularly interesting or good.
