so I have a whole stash of extracts that I really need to get to reviewing as I am running out of regular sodas so I mixed one up a few days ago and then started to write it up before realizing I had reviewed that one a couple years ago. I dumped that one out and mixed up this one which I definitely have not reviewed.
I like their package and style pretty well, it is more along the lines of normal root beer than the extract style, which is a nice departure.
I get that extracts are supposed to taste like standard root beer flavor so I cannot expect much crazy or unusual with these things. but one never knows right? well yeah, pretty normal root beer flavor, pretty high caramel taste. it is smooth and tasty. but that is ok here really. in the grand scheme of root beers it does not stack up so great though. it is probably equivalent to like a store brand soda. it might cook up well in something, root beer cake perhaps? or root beer jack fruit? i should try that sometime.
