Schilo’s root beer is another one obtained by the gourmet himself. I know I have read his review of it but I do not recall his thoughts. I think he also did a video review which I will have to check out soon as well.
the bottle is ok but seems a bit amateurish. I mean I could probably make this and I am not in any way a graphic designer as evidenced by this website. but that is not really the important thing here.
this is one of the most carbonated sodas I have had in a long time. honestly I don’t like that. it is annoying to have to drink it over the sink pretty much as it fizzes over after every drink. plus it also alters the tastes, making it much more sharp and tickley.
the taste beyond that is not that great either. what flavor that is there is rather bland, kind of sour. it just comes off as them throwing something sort of generic together to have a root beer to serve and not really trying much. it is not a drink I would look to have again. this is not a bad soda, it is just mediocre. maybe the tap version is better. if I am ever in the area I will give that a try at least.
