this is another soda that I am not quite sure what it is called. I think I got it right though. they have a lot of slogans and explanations of their company and soda on the bottle which always adds a more personal touch to it, so that’s good to see. New Creation stresses a lot how old fashioned and traditional and natural they are, which is also nice. I guess in the root beer world this was a commonly known about brand as when I found it I offered to send some to the usual suspects and no one was interested. I guess it shows I am a bit out of touch with what is out there perhaps. nonetheless I am excited about trying any new root beer out!
they put some pecan in here which is unusual. I mean there are a couple pecan root beers out there but this is the first one that doesn’t have ‘pecan’ in the name. or mentioned anywhere. being as they are based in GA it is not too shocking and fits with the region.
you actually can’t taste the pecan at all really and I am ok with that. you can taste the rootiness of it though. that isn’t too overly strong which is good though. just a little bitter taste in the flavor profile which is otherwise caramelly and smooth. it is not exactly that different but it is good and does the job fine.
