so i am a bit confused by the can here, why are there ice cream cones on top of ‘B’s inside of the ‘O’s? ok, now i see when i do a web search, Braum’s is an ice cream store and that is their logo. alright so moving on. this is pretty good soda. for a generic especially. nothing really so amazing but good enough to drink and not feel like it is the same as everything else out there. probably good as a float too, which i would imagine this establishment would be happy to provide live and in person.

another soda from Trevor! i am not quite sure what store sells this particular brand. i tried to find out online to no avail. i could ask Trevor but i owe him sodas in exhange for these and i feel bad doing so although i have sodas to send. so yeh. this is so similar to root beer barrel candies that i am amazed. wow, yeh, that is the flavor right on. and it is a good taste i must admit. a bit too sweet in liquid form honestly. and if can’t be honest here, where can i be?! ok, don’t answer that. i don’t really know if this is a taste i’d want to drink too much really even if it would be good occasionally.

Ingredients: carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sodium benzoate (preservative), citric acid, gum arabic, natural and artificial flavor

Empire Bottling Works Rootbeer

June 5, 2004
Filed under: root beers — anthony @ 3:20 pm
Type: Root Beer Comes In: 12oz glass bottle
Available: RI, online Obtained in: mail order
Head: Medium Sweetener: cane sugar
Caffeine: No

ok, i feel like i may have said this before but i can’t think of any root beers that come in a green bottle. ok, domestic root beers since there is that one weird little British one… so yeh, the soda… it is interesting. unique almost. and i don’t say that too much. a spicey blend yet the cane sugar gives it that slightly thicker, heavier feel without making it seem syrupy. i like it. the thing is, this company seems to bottle a lot of other brands, like Kay Koola and AJ Stephans so i am not sure if this is the same as one of those. i don’t think so, probably proprietary flavors for each of them. but i wondered why the caps looked so familiar…

Kutztown Diet Birch Beer

yeh, so i waited forever to drink this. not so much intentionally though, it was just in the back of the fridge. maybe subconsciously i avoided the diet soda and it got pushed back more and more or something. frankly this is bad. a bad taste that is harsh, metallic and not at all pleasent coupled with that weird yellow color that is just disconcerting to me makes for a soda that will not be on my recommended list. even for a diet soda. sure, Sucralose is not quite as awful as other stuff right now, but i am sure research will be done to prove it reaks havoc upon some part of the digestive system.
