so they have a diet soda as well… the thing is, the info printed on here is for the regular, at least i think so. i mean they won’t have a 160 calorie cane sugar diet soda, would they? i’d hope not. the artwork on here is similar in style to the regular root beer, but with basically a bald, grey bearded guy with no hat but a shirt under his overalls. he is missing the same teeth and has the same pose, nose, ears and eyes so i presume it is an aged version of the other fellow who is now diabetic so can only drink diet sodas? or perhaps his father in the same boat? the answer may never be known. well, unless we ask them, but who wants to do that?
well, if this is a 160 calorie soda, it is very badly done as it has a terrible after taste. if it is diet, then it is still pretty bad. you get that sickly sweet in a bad way flavor which obscures the actual root beer taste which is very quickly followed by a metallic ick that really seals the deal on not tasting the actual soda. they carries through until the yuck aftertaste settles on your tongue. despite that, i have had much worse drinks. not that i can finish even half of this mind you, but it isn’t that horrible.
