another soda with a very long name. or maybe I just don’t know what to call it really. well, checking their website did not help at all. I did find out that you can special order birch beer and sarsaparilla though! I have no idea what sort of format they would come in as the seem to mostly sell syrups for fountains, but they also have it for soda stream. I don’t have one of those things but should get one some day I suppose.
they are very proud to be using real sugar, but that is kind of the standard these days. I suppose when they started in 2009 it was not though so I will forgive the overzealousness.
I want to like this but it just doesn’t impress me much. I have been sipping at it while I bake a chocolate cake for my sick gal but it just doesn’t pull me in. it is ok. it isn’t bad, it just is. I know it is root beer, sure, but not too convincingly. this sort of soda makes it hard to say much about. if it is bad I can complain. if it is great I can rave. if it just is ok, eh it’s ok
