I am kind of scared of this one. I really don’t know if it is different from R & B Produce Homemade Root Beer but that one disappeared for a while and now this one is around. plus the ingredients are different, although I suspect this one is more accurate as if it had more root beer extract than water as the other one claimed, that would be rather vile and even more awful than it was, which is saying something indeed. I also am not sure what to call it, so I just named it after the market where I purchased it from a kind lady who also sells multifarious juices, cappuccino and other such drinks. this is the only homemade soda they offered though.
I have not had good at all experiences with these homemade Amish / PA Dutch root beers. or really any yeast carbonated root beer. if just adds a really bad taste to the drink.
ok, so enough stalling, I have to actually try this.
well, that took a few minutes to even open. there was a lot of sediment on the bottom so I tried to mix it in to get a true representation of the intended flavor. that of course made it foam up a lot when I opened the top, so I had to just take my time to not make a mess.
hhhmmmm, well this is quite bad, but not AS bad as the other ones I have had. I suppose that is a point in their favor. nonetheless it still mostly tastes like yeast which is not a good taste or anything I want in my beverages in any way. if you enjoy yeasty things though, you should maybe try this. I can almost tell it is supposed to be a root beer way down below that icky flavor, but I will just drink as little as possible here so that I can make a decent enough review.
