it seems I actually have several pro/prebiotic root beers in the ole queue so I figured I will try to just bust through them all in the coming weeks. well, maybe there is just this and one more? I am actually not sure, maybe I have yet another in there. I really should sort them by date or something so at least I have some idea of how old they are, this one is best by a couple months ago but I am sure it is fine. well, not spoiled at least. whether is actually tastes good is a whole other matter.
well, let’s find out, huh? yeah, this is not exactly root beer tasting. that seems to be how these things go almost every time, they just don’t taste like what they are supposed to. I guess it is easier to label different tastes as familiar things but when they don’t really taste like those things it seems rather silly. this is more of a sort of bitter sparkling apple juice. I am surprised they put cane sugar in here, and that does help the taste some, at least there is not that icky artificial sweetener aftertaste. now that I look at the ingredients, it is probably the kefir that makes for the bitter thing. yeah I cannot get into this one, even for a drink in general it isn’t so good. I will finish it, sure, so it can’t be all that bad I suppose. there have been plenty of sodas I have dumped out.
