Reedsville Creamery Root Beer

I made a trade with the glorious Gene a few months back and I think this is the first review resulting from it. I really have been trying to keep better track of who I get things from but sometimes the stickers I put on fall off or I get things confused. so Gene, or anyone else, if you sent me something and I did not credit you, let me know, it was not intentional and I am very grateful to anyone who trades or sends me stuff. anywho, on with the show!
I do love this very small batch root beers! I feel like I probably could have gone to Lewsitown, PA myself and gotten this, although I am not quite sure just were in Pennsylvania that is. but I did drive across the state and back twice in the past year. not that I stopped anywhere on the way as a 12-13 hour drive is plenty long enough for me already, but still… they say this is ‘honey & vanilla infused’ which I am not quite sure what that means. is infusing different then just mixing it in, adding it as part of the recipe? I should google that up but it is rather more fun to speculate on how infusion works. I will admit I do not so much taste the honey, maybe they should have dumped instead of infused. the vanilla? yeah that comes through more so. there is something not quite right about the taste to me. it is pretty basic but then this sort of sour thing hits after a few seconds that does not sit well. it is unfortunate. otherwise I do like it before that point in the experience and after it fades away too. so it is fine but no great shakes.
