Cove Soda Root Beer

I am a contradiction of sorts, as you may know by this point. I review root beers, obviously, but also compete in duathlons. I feel like it sort of evens out. I do try to eat mainly healthy things yet when worlds collide and a thing that is not normally healthy has a healthy version I am usually skeptical. it is not often that it actually measures up at all. if I want something that sort of tastes like the good thing, I am probably not as interested, I will just have the yummy thing, maybe less of it, but realistically probably the full amount I feel like having.
this drink has probiotics, is zero sugar and 80% of your vitamin C, so do you think it is good? they claim is taste amazing and they can’t like, right? well, ok it is far from the worst of the healthy sodas I have had and also not the worst of the root beers in general I have had. now if someone blindly gave me a drink of this, would I guess it was supposed to be root beer? maybe, I mean I am a root beer expert and it doesn’t taste like any other flavor really. perhaps I would guess orange as it has this sort of citrus tang to it? in reality it does not taste like a normal root beer or a good drink. the sweetener is not awful but it does take away from the experience and sort of dominant the flavor with that bitter erythritol thing. it has been some time since I had the other, bigger probiotic soda brands but I think this is about on par with them, not really good at all but not terrible. and not something I would chose to get again, especially at a premium price over even generic store brand root beer, or a lot of diet root beers, especially the ‘free’ versions.
