this one comes to me from the mighty root beer gourmet doctor Eric! at this point I have known that guy for a very long time, more than half my life so it it always a pleasure to trade sodas with him.
I am a little suspicious of this one not really being the recipe or exclusive to the Oasis Diner, but they claim it is. I mean it really looks like a private label thing. from the kind of generic label to the not really clear printing of that label, it has the feel of something whipped up as a gif in photoshop. but no matter, I will believe much like Zeus’s devotees across the world.
well I am not too into this one. it is pretty mediocre. that is mostly due to this kind of bitter taste that hits in the start. that does mainly fade away to a pretty good, creamy smooth sweet taste but it still leaves me a bit disappointed. it seems like a harsh herbal tinge that does not sit right or blend well with the rest of the flavor so it strikes my mouth sensors weirdly. it is far from a bad soda but it isn’t wonderful as I would like it to be.
