quite a good brew for a major label. behind a&w, probably my favorite. and perhaps IBC, it just depends on my mood really. a very solid root beer flavor, nothing really special or tricky about it and it is refreshing because of this, to me at least. Anthony’s Rating: 70

I just don’t like this one much and I really can’t figure out why. Is it because I am only drinking the diet version of this brand, even though with most drinks it doesn’t bother me. Perhaps I should try a can of regular. Yep, that’s what I will do and then send in a update.

Well I tried their regular and I still can hardly drink it.
This is my favorite major brand!!!! It has the best taste. It destroys A&W, it has more bite than Barqs and it KOs I.B.C.
Surprised to see such a high rating for Mug Root Beer. To me it tastes like melted root beer popsicles with carbonation.
I used to get cases of this in 10 oz squat bottles as a kid. For that reason alone it will always have a soft spot in my heart (and probably cause a few soft spots in my teeth…)
