not to be confused with the other two sodas with the “Route 66” motif, although i think at least one of those is no longer produced. anyway, on to this soda! i had known of its existance for a while now but never got around to getting some for myself, but then it appeared on my doorstep so all was good in the world again! the taste of this brew is fairly standard, albeit a little bit weak/watery. and i think there is my issue with the root beer. i do enjoy it but i struggle to keep a hold of the taste as it is rather fleeting on my tongue. (ok, that may be the most pompous thing i have ever said or written about a root beer, but it is true!) the head is strong, making it look good. the flavor that is there is smooth with a hint of spice, perhaps a cinnimon-ish undertone? it is not bad by any means, as i said i do enjoy it but it does not wow me.

Didn’t like this one at all.
Wow, this one is surprisingly good. I give it an 88, but it’s tempting to rate it higher. It has a subtle smooth-vanilla flavor which is good, but it also has a pretty decent root beer flavor. Definitely one of the better root beers I’ve tried. I’ll be getting some more of this eventually. This root beer has great carbonation and a great flavor. B+
Also, this one is made with 100% pure cane sugar – not HFCS!!
I picked up a bottle of this on Route 66 and was glad I did.
Pretty sweet, medium carbonation, not too rooty, kinda creamy. Somewhere in the middle on most scores, so in the end it is balanced and decent. Quite tasty.
