Saxi Sarsaparilla

oooo, a Vietnamese sarsaparilla!! I will have to see if this is a first for me or not. yes indeed it is! ok, so have to modify my database again this week, very cool! so I totally lost this one in my fridge apparently as it was way in the back, seemingly pushed there accidentally when I added other things to that fridge. perhaps I should go back to having an exclusive root beer review fridge although I don’t really think that would make much difference in preventing such situations as this. and really there is not a whole lot else in the fridge I do use for soda anyway, plus it is a regular size one as opposed to the small one I was using before. in any case, on with the show!
I quite like the fun image on here of three people riding a rocket ship make from a soda bottle, it is just cute and a good time. I tried to translate the other stuff on here with not a lot of luck. on the top it says “sum v?y cùng sa x?” which means “gather in luxury” and that seems appropriate, but “ch??ng duong” comes out as “road chapter” which I do not quite get.
the taste of this one is very licorice heavy. that seems to go along with how the couple other Asian sarsaparillas I have had. I do very much like licorice so I am just fine with this development. along with that is some traditional sarsaparilla flavor. there are other herbal tastes going on here I feel like, maybe some clove. really though it is hard to tell as the licorice is so strong. this is a reasonably unique drink, even if another soda or two does taste kind of similar. I feel like it is different enough, or perhaps that they are all quite rare and hard to find anyway so collectively they are still unique. although I do like this quite a bit, I don’t think it would do well with a wider release as so many people really hate licorice. but then again, lots of people hate whatever Moxie is and they keep going. well, if I ever launch my own soda company maybe the sarsaparilla would taste like this.
