R & B Produce Homemade Root Beer

i was pretty excited to see this in the Amish store, having never had a homemade root beer before really. the one i tried to make does not really count as it failed. i had always thought they should have some homemade root beer there but as i had only gone a few times and never saw any, i thought they must not. the fact that it is made with root beer extract is somewhat discouraging also, i hoped for some secret Amish recipe or something. oh well. so actually it is not all that good. kind of hearty smelling but then the taste is a little weak. not bad, but not really great. i am not sure the carbonation really worked that well either as there is barely any present and there is a good amount of residue on the bottom of the bottle. but it is decent and a fine first taste of homemade root beer although i doubt the ingredient list is correct in listing root beer extract before water, that would be a LOT of extract! if you can find it, grab a bottle or a jug and enjoy!
