i am not sure if this root beer and the plastic bottle one are actually different or not, the ingredients are in a bit different order and the nutrition info is different though. anyhow, they taste darn similiar. so yeh anyway. a bit too creamy for my tastes usually, but sometimes i really get in that mood to have some Stewart’s. with ice cream, it is really even better. it wouldn’t be my first pick, but it is pretty high up there.
i got this info from Neil Goldstein a while ago about this Stewart’s:
“I work for a beverage distributor in New York. The other product (on the right side of the page) is made by Cable Car Beverage, a company owned by Tri-Arc (Mistic, Snapple, RC Cola, etc.). Cable Car’s line of sodas are all old fashioned formulas, hence the lack of bite in the root beer.”
so that is cleared up. i do like this soda, at least more than IBC which is all i can get in a 32 around here.

I find this root beer quite good. Even their diet version is good stuff.
This root beer is Ok, I gave this a 65. I feel it is weak on root beer flavor.
Underwhelming and forgettable. Too expensive and not enough payoff. I agree with “Rickb” – it’s a 65 at best, and that’s being generous.
