this is another one of the amish extracts I obtained in one load. its packaging is fairly standard and plain, that is fine, it does not need to be fancy or anything. maybe that means more attention was paid to the product itself, i am all for that possibility.
i must say that i have never seen a soda that had so many artificial colors in it. even having more than just caramel color is very unusual. the effect seems to be that it is almost a dark purple. i don’t let my kids have many artificial colors so I am trying to drink as little of this as possible myself. i had to guess on how to make this since the directions were again for a 4 gallon batch. but it seems to have come ok decently.
the flavor is rather fruity with a bit of a licorice tinge to it. it is not actually all the typical in flavor. i admit i don’t like it too much.
