the trade results continue to pile up, this one from the king of the Museum of Root Beer, the mighty Vince! it seems like this company is more a vanity label type company, which is cool and all, but they do sell their stuff retail as well. they sell glass bottles, fountain syrup and soda stream syrup in many flavors. they even have a butterscotch root beer I see which is quite exciting! perhaps one day I will order some of that, but it is quite expensive for just the one flavor unfortunately to mail order.
although I cannot say this root beer is exactly unique, it is rather good. it is very nice and smooth, creamy and heady. the root beer flavor is inoffensive and just what you imagine, like a melted root beer barrel candy and almost as sweet as that would be. no crazy spices and daring angles going on with this one. sometimes that is just fine, it is all you want, but in general I would prefer a little something more. I am kind of curious what “propylene glycol alginate lvf” so let me see… ok, it is made from algae and is a emulsifier, stabilizer, and thickener, so maybe that is what helps it be so smooth? no idea, but seems much less harmless than it sounds.
