Apple Beer SodaBeers Root Beer

I had seen Apple Beer SodaBeers Root Beer a couple times on various root beer mail order sites but always assumed it was the same as the Barrel Brother Creamy Vanilla Root Beer I reviewed many years ago or perhaps the Barrel Brothers Root Beer I reviewed even more many years ago. apparently I was wrong since this is a totally different recipe! so that is cause for jubilation, by me at the very least.
this is one of those super heady, fizzy sodas as it overflowed the bottle after the first sip. I did not actually notice as I am writing this with little illumination, but luckily I put it on a paper towel on my desk so only that got wet. talk about good thinking without thinking. the taste of this drink is mostly standard, but there is something here…. it is very creamy and vanilla tasting, but that is not it. a little extra herb is in here that is subtle. maybe a little cinnamon. hhhhhmmm, yeah I will go with that. I am liking this more as I drink more and ponder it more. they don’t go crazy and really do anything too weird or unusual yet it is a little off the path. this is a definite improvement over both of the previous versions so I am glad they went with a whole new name here. good choice.
