Hollis John’s Root Beer

I am always so very excited to get sodas from other nations. granted this one is from Canada, Prince Edward Island to be specific, which is not the furthest place or anything. but still, with root beer being such an American thing when you get down to it, it is very fun to see how other places do it.
this was sent by the kind Soda Pop Bros when they sent their own sodas, which is super awesome of them.
overall this drink is good. there is a sharpness to it that puts it out of the “standard root beer” category, well the sharpness and some kind of unique spices. I am going to guess clove and a bit of cinnamon mostly. it is not really all that different or way out of standard, but if you pay a little more attention you can tell. that is kind of what I do here of course.
after drinking about half the bottle I looked at the ingredients from curiosity, huh, only four things. but then again, a lot of stuff falls under “natural and artificial flavour” so who really knows what that entails here.
