this is the other offering from the mighty Soda Pop Bros that falls within my wheelhouse. I hope to one day get to the Canada and try some of their other flavors as well as peruse their establishment in general. I was going to place a mail order but they do not deliver through the mail anymore it seems, alas. anyway, I did enjoy their maple root beer so my hopes are strong for this one.
ok, let’s see…. a little fruity, a little more sharp, mostly just rooty. and a whole lot of carbonation and a very long lasting foamy head. frankly I am not blown away but it is good. this is one of those brews that seems to change in flavor as you drink. at first it was more sharp and a little tart, now that I am near done I would say it is more sweet and a touch more fruity. it doesn’t stand out exactly but that is a hard task to achieve. if I were at their store I would get some more of it for sure yet I will not be racing to order a case if they offer shipping again. I do very much appreciate the sample they sent for review though! very kind and nice people.
