woo! a new formulation of this soda I reviewed a bunch of years ago and I don’t think I thought was very tasty. well, whatever, any new soda is a plus. I had to hold off on trying it until I could do so early in the day. as it is an “energy drink” with caffeine and guarana and I do not consume such things much at all, it affects me and keeps me awake more than I imagine it does for most people.
so once again this is pretty darn bad. so maybe not bad, but not good. mediocre I suppose. I don’t actually taste any orange in here, although I am not sure what I do taste. it is sort of fruity but not orange. yeah, maybe more of a fruit punch sort of deal that is a little bit root beer-like. really it is a strange drink, but still not tasty. I am drinking it more to figure out just what it tastes like than because I am enjoying it. I get that this is sort of a novelty drink, but I would think you’d need some base of people who enjoy it in general to buy enough to make a profit, but I know nothing about such things. maybe there is a legion of Root Jack loving people out there.
