Grizzly Paw Brewing Co Root Beer

this soda, much like last week, I have had for some time. but in this case I really thought I had reviewed another can of it some time ago. it is a good thing I decided to check and be sure. because I am not so good at remembering who I traded with to get specific sodas, I have taken to putting a small label on the can or putting it in a bag with the person’s name. I believe I did that this time but as I intended to write this a couple weeks ago, I had taken it off or out and now I really don’t know who it was. for that I feel very bad. if it was you, I apologize, please let me know and I will give you full credit for your kind ways.
this comes from Alberta, Canada, from a supposely bullfrog powered brewery. now I like frogs as much as the next guy but I am skeptical here so bear with me while I go to their website and validate this. hhhmmm, I see absolutely nothing about this there so I am taking it as the obviously joking thing that I took as possibly serious. oh well, sounded cool, I was excited.
this is a very sweet soda, and i mean that in the sugary sense, not the 90’s sweeeeettt sense. was that a 90’s thing or a 2000’s? I am not sure, bad memory as I mentioned previously. good thing I like sweet sodas. I would like it to be more different than just being extra sweet but the taste is pretty straight standard beyond that. the carbonation is nice and in control so that is a plus as well. overall it is a good drink. for some reason I taste the can with this more than I usually do. I don’t know if it is the liquid having been tainted or the can itself on my mouth but I can’t recall a soda where that happened before. I will put some in a cup and try it… ok yeah it is the can not the soda. huh. oh well.
