very curious that it is red… sadly it is not too much like the only other red birch beer i have had, Boylan’s Creamy Red. this stuff has some weird sort of menthol smell / taste that is kind of subtle but still rather annoying. and it ruins a decent taste otherwise.

i got this at a jazz festival in Princeton, so perhaps the stuff in the actual restuarnt is different. i sure hope so cuz this was lame. SO watery and just no taste to it really at all. well, barely. seemed ok besides that lack though. little minty tinge which is nice.
a very fine drink. smooth going down without being overly powerful. if this beverage has any fault, it is that the flavor is just a hint too weak. but that is not really a problem. a great looking bottle design also. what a root beer should be in my mind.
