just when i think i have reviewed all of the store brands, along comes another one. they are not something i seek out at all these days, but if i stumble across one or i’m making a trade and that is all the other party can get that i have not had, i’ll go for it. the latter was the case here.
this has to be one of the cheesiest, lowest budget design jobs i have seen. but it is a generic store brand, so i don’t expect much more. you may as well go for broke if you are going for cheap.
the taste is ok. it is very much the expected taste, pretty harsh in the carbonation, syrupy sweet. suck on a root beer barrel candy and you know what this tastes like. sometimes that is what you want. not me so much, you. well, sometimes i want candy, but actually not root beer barrels too much, surprisingly. if you have drank a store brand root beer basically ever, i am sure you have had a soda that tasted much like this. it will do but that’s about it.
