it has been some time since I had regular Polly’s Pop. I don’t think I loved it but perhaps they did a better job at the diet version somehow? yeah, I know, seems unlikely but who knows? lately I have been having diet sodas more often myself. which is not really saying much as I pretty much never had it except to review, so the one of so a month I have been having is a big change for me but not overall. somehow it seems like they have improved diet soda technology as they don’t all taste like awful.
well, I have had much worse sodas than this, that is for sure. yet it still is not tasty and nothing I would pick to drink over water or something tasty. again, there is that metallic yuck that slowly builds and remains a while as an aftertaste. this wrecks what other flavor is there. really though there is not much else to it. when I close my eyes I really can’t even tell this is a root beer. it is just a sweet carbonated drink with the edge of licking foil or something. as I drink this more the less I am liking it and I did not like it much to start. still I have had things that were actively terrible so this is better than that.
