this soda comes to me by way of the prince of the fm dial, Tony! so much thanks to him, as always.
I actually never thought I would get to try this brand as it had stopped production a long time ago but semi-recently mounted a comeback. I can find no deal info on them making soda again in the US either. it was my impression that their flagship orange soda was still out there, but mostly in other countries. yet somehow, here this is in my grubby paws so I will just move on.
so either I got a bum bottle and the top was not on well or this is the intention, but either way, there is basically no carbonation in this soda. beyond that it is a high quality drink. rich and caramel tasting, this is the type of root beer I really enjoy. it goes done very smoothly with a creamy goodness to it. yes, it could be more unique with some herbs or a twist of some sort but when it is spot on goodness you may want to just stick with that and run with it. if only it had some carbonation I think this would be a decent amount higher, so that is unfortunate. maybe I can get another bottle one day and re-evaluate it.
