I currently have a decent amount of sodas queued up in my fridge, which is a very nice change of pace. for some reason though I keep grabbing the ones in cans lately, but I don’t realize it until I start reviewing and look at my site, noticing that the recent stuff us almost all cans. I do have a good amount of cans, sure, but also more bottles. oh well, no matter. this one I feel like I should drink sooner rather than later, as it is a ‘keep refrigerated’ type of beverage. it just seems that it will go bad although I see how information about that on the can itself. no matter, I am already invested into it, popped it open and took a sip and all.
I think I heard about this one at some point but I forgot until I saw in live and in person at my local Aldi when I was doing my grocery shopping. that is a wonderful and rather sadly rare feeling I must tell you. I almost always look for new drinks when I go to a food store of any sort but it has probably been years since that yielded anything and maybe a decade since it had in my home state. my hopes for this though are very low. well, ‘were’ very low would be more accurate as I already said I took a sip, after that sip, my hopes were actually set too high. I have had a good amount of these ‘healthy’ sodas (or is it ‘healthful’ sodas? I am not actually sure. my dad would always say how people are healthy and food is healthful but maybe that is not correct) and I never quite understand the demographics that keep them going. they are almost never even palatable. why would you pick to have this? sure, 9 grams of fiber is a pretty good thing, but not at the cost of awful taste. it is sour, bitter, sharp and I do not think I would guess this was supposed to be root beer. I have definitely had worse, much worse drinks than this, I could finish it if I chose to, yet I think i will chose to dump half of it out at least, so there goes 4.5 grams of fiber.
