i had been told about this soda by someone and tried to obtain it but it was not working at all. so i broke down eventually and mail ordered it from one of the online retailers. perhaps i could have contacted the company and asked for a sample but i feel like these small soda companies can ill afford to send free stuff out and i can afford, sort of, to send for a bottle or two.
i like the style of this one, it is different if nothing else. very colorful and not copping out and doing the usual brown and orange root beer colors. yes, i know i cop out myself and use that color scheme myself in large part, but that is more justified since it is me and i can do no wrong.
the flavor is along the lines of the light, refreshing root beers. pretty sweet and a good caramel finish and aftertaste that does an excellent job of making you feel like it was good. it is good too, throughout the flavor profile, starting quite sweet, going to more of a lighter, almost herbal feel, reminding me of a very sweet tea in a way, then fading to a caramel-ish end. i enjoy it. it is something i have to pay attention to though to appreciate, it is a quiet good. strangely i think that takes it down a point although there definitely is a big place for sodas of that sort in the world. if you want to have a good soda while doing something else that requires attention, this would be the type to chose.
