Eric comes through yet again with a new soda! I am quite surprised this has no ingredient list, I don’t think that is legal. oh well, i will trust it is not poison. it is pretty exciting, mostly in a “hey, that’s different!” sort of way, that this comes in a pint size bottle. in general parlance that would mean it is very small, but in this case, a pint is much larger than the usual root beer bottle size, so it means it is jumbo sized!
I really do like the label design here with orange and maroon stripes as a background and classic font choices for the words. excellent job there. at least they reveal that it is made with real sugar on there.
now, is it worth having an extra large amount of this soda? is it a drink that I cant get enough of and need to pound down? really, no. it is fine, but just doesn’t have a strong taste. if you want something to drink along with food, that is great, but as the feature it falls short. the irony is that it is very carbonated so it does grab your attention in that way, tickling your mouth all up and nearly foaming over with each drink, but then it does not hold that attention with the flavor. there is a bit of a caramel flavor in there along with some creaminess but i think the sharp carbonation overpowers it and pushes it back too much for it to be very noticeable. maybe it would be better if i let it get flat.
