Shoprite Bowl & Basket Root Beer Float

I do not normally shop at Shoprite. although it is the 2nd closest supermarket to me and the closest large one, I am just more often near the Stop & Shop which also has the scanner thing so I can bag while I shop and not have to take everything out of the cart to check out which is quite a nice feature in my mind. but I went into Shoprite to get yogurt as they have these extra large tubs of plain greek yogurt at a great price, when they are actually in stock, which they were not on the day in question. but as I passed by the cold juice section I saw some sodas. I think you know where this is going. if you do not and you are reading a root beer review, you may want to stop and ponder just where life has taken you so far and what you can expect from it in the future. ok, so the rest of us know I saw this root beer and was pleasantly surprised. well, sort of. I mean, a new root beer is exciting,for sure. yet it being a prebiotic and probiotic root beer float flavored soda buts a damper on that excitement. but I am eternally optimistic so maybe this will be amazing.
so no, that is not the case. this is quite abysmally bad. it has all the bad qualities of a stevia sweetened drink like being metallic and bitter, along with a not very good taste otherwise. if I had not had so many root beers in my many years on Earth I wouldn’t really think this tastes like a root beer even. but since I have done so I can say this tastes sort of like other natural, healthy-ish root beers that frankly are trying too hard in my mind. sure, fiber is great, prebiotics & probiotics and great, but in the end it has to taste at least sort of good. and this does not.
