unfortunately I found out about this a bit after Halloween. Northern Soda Company Pumpkin Spice Root Beer came in a variety four pack so I had to buy them all to get this one. at the moment I have no idea what the other flavors are, but they are not root beer related in any way so does it really even matter?
after enjoying their “pop’s day sampler pack” a couple of months ago, I look forward to this. even more so because the one other pumpkin root beer I have had was really quite yummy.
as I try this though, I don’t really taste the pumpkin spice much at all. it is flat as well, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that and assume I got a bum can. but beyond the carbonation level, the taste should be the same. it is ok, just a quite sweet normal root beer in the end though. which I suppose is fine and all, but when it promises pumpkin spice, it should deliver that at least a little bit. with that said, I fully and enthusiastically support Northern Soda Co’s root beer efforts and will continue to purchase their wares whenever they release new ones. now I wonder how the other flavors in this assortment are….
